A Wedding, a Soviet Train and a Hundred Thousand Umbrellas

Diana and Alex got married. That’s where the “wedding” part of the title comes from.

They got married in their hometown in Moldova. That’s where the Soviet Train comes from.

I am a big fat liar. That’s where the hundred thousand umbrellas come from.

That is not to say there were no umbrellas at all. They were definitely there. About a hundred, maybe a hundred and fifty, not more. They adorn a pedestrian street in a canopy. Colorful in a soothing way, not in a hurts-your-eyes way.
